Beautiful Cape Town

Updated: Jun 9, 2022

The beautiful city of Cape Town has so much to offer with its endless attractions, I couldn’t wait to explore this gorgeous city, rich in history and incredible beauty.

Even though I was pushed for time I visited what I felt was the cities most beautiful top attractions.

I started off my trip at the V&A Waterfront which offers a variety of experiences, ranging from leisure and shopping to entertainment and business, making it an ideal place to shop, play, stay and eat.

Situated in the heart of Cape Town’s working harbour with the dramatic backdrop of Table Mountain, sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, Table Bay Harbour and the City of Cape Town, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is a favourite destination for Capetonians and tourists alike – attracting more than 23 million visitors a year.

Next stop was the Iconic Table Mountain, this natural world heritage site and New 7 Wonder of the World boasts magnificent views of mountains and the Cape Peninsula.

Table Mountain has always been on the top of my travel bucket list so it was a real treat to experience this beauty!

There is nothing quite like Cape Town’s sunsets. With the smell of the ocean, the breeze and Table Mountain lit up as a spectacular backdrop, there is really no other way to the end the day.

Visiting the Cape Peninsula is a must for anyone visiting Cape Town. I enjoyed a scenic drive until I reached boulders beach where I got to watch the African Penguins swim in the most picturesque beach.

Cape Point is a spectacular place to visit, with breath taking views, beaches and rolling green hills only 60 km’s outside of Cape Town. I enjoyed a picnic admiring the spectacular lookout over the ocean.

There was no better way to end my visit to Cape Town than by spending it at Cape Point, where it feels like you are standing at the edge of the world.

I cannot wait until my next trip to Cape Town!
