I spent half a day exploring the beautiful coastal town of Caesarea and I can't wait to go back! Only a 45 minute drive from Tel Aviv you will find the beautiful National Park of Caesarea which includes a large Roman amphitheater and port.

Caesarea was one of the biggest ports in the Mediterranean with giant piers stretching out into the sea ready to house dozens of ships.
Today, Caesarea incorporates ancient ruins with the modern life of today.
The Roman theatre is a venue for concerts and the harbor and beach are full of cafes, restaurants and cute shops.
Once you are done exploring the beautiful national park, grab your picnic basket and head over to aqueduct beach, here you will find the famous aqueduct, built by King Herod.
This aqueduct transported water for over 1000 years to this ancient Mediterranean city!
